Gombe APC Chairman and Legal Adviser Defect to PDP

Bala Ngalda, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Pantami Ward, Gombe Local Government Area of Gombe State, and Babangida Gololo, the party’s Legal Adviser in the same ward, have officially resigned from their positions and defected to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). This development was communicated through separate resignation letters dated July 27, 2027, addressed to the Secretary of the APC in Pantami Ward.

Ngalda expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and acknowledged the support from the Gombe State Government during his tenure. He emphasized that despite leaving the APC, he would continue to hold the party in high regard.

Gololo similarly thanked the APC leadership and the Gombe State Government for their support and stated that his decision followed careful consultation with his family. Their defection is anticipated to impact the political dynamics in Pantami Ward, as political parties are actively restructuring ahead of future elections.
