Gombe CP Honors Suur Chafa with DCP Rank

On Monday, at the Gombe State Police Command Headquarters, Umar Chuso, the Commissioner of Police in Gombe State, decorated Suur Chafa with the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police. The ceremony was attended by family members, government officials, members of the Police Community Relations Committee, and leaders of the Tiv community in Gombe State.

In recognition of Chafa's professionalism and meritorious service, the Gombe State chapter of the Police Community Relations Committee presented him with an Award of Excellence. Commissioner Chuso congratulated Chafa, urging him to remain committed to the ideals of the Nigeria Police Force, emphasizing that the promotion recognized his professionalism, dedication, discipline, and commitment.

The President of the Tiv community commended the promotion and the relationship between the Nigeria Police Force and the Tiv community. In response, Chafa expressed gratitude to the Commissioner and the Command Management Team for their support, highlighting the importance of cooperation and goodwill from all stakeholders.
