ADC Unveils Chief Chris Uba as Presidential Candidate

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially announced Chief Chris Uba as its presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. This decision was made after a consensus primary election, as stated by Nafiu Bala Gombe, who announced the development during a formal presentation.

The process was described as transparent and peaceful, aligning with the principles of federal character and equity. The party's leadership confirmed that three members expressed interest in the presidential nomination, including Dr.

Bashir Moham Sani and William Charl, but they voluntarily withdrew to endorse Chief Uba as the sole candidate. Furthermore, the ADC presented a comprehensive list of 29 gubernatorial candidates across various states, including notable names such as Muhammad Usman Shuwa from Adamawa State and Shamsudin Muhammad from Kaduna.

The primary elections were conducted in strict compliance with the constitutional provisions of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the ADC's electoral guidelines.
