ADC Submits 2027 Candidates to INEC, Barkindo as VP

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), under the leadership of Hon Nafiu Bala Gombe, has successfully uploaded its candidates for the 2027 presidential and National Assembly elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as per the requirements of the Electoral Act 2022. The submission process was completed in compliance with Section 29(1) of the Act.

Dr. Shamsuddeen Modibbo Barkindo has been unveiled as the vice-presidential candidate.

Gombe described the completion of the candidate submission process as a significant milestone in the party's preparations for the upcoming elections. Prof.

Chri Uba, who will be the presidential candidate, is noted to be 71 years old and hails from Anambra State, while Barkindo, 65, is from Adamawa State and attended Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria. The party aims to present credible leadership capable of addressing Nigeria's challenges.
