Governor Sani Urges Religious Leaders to Promote Peace

On Friday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State called on religious leaders to actively preach peace and pray for Nigeria, highlighting their significant role in promoting coexistence within the state and the country. During the inauguration of the Northern Christian Religious Leaders Assembly (NOCRELA), officiated by Rev.

Ishaya Adamu Jangado, Sani emphasized that the current period is crucial as the country prepares for elections to select new leadership. He urged religious leaders to showcase their skills in mobilizing communities towards sustainable peace.

Sani expressed gratitude to the religious leaders for their efforts in upholding peace and encouraged them to continue fostering a positive atmosphere in the state. Pastor Adegbegi Emmanuel Ayodeji, the NOCRELA North West Zonal Secretary General, urged the newly inaugurated officials to serve God and society faithfully.

Rev. Jeremiah Akila Vivian, the Kaduna State Chairman of NOCRELA, assured that the organization would work tirelessly to promote peace and flush out negative elements from the state.
