Abba Kabir Yusuf Appoints Umar Maggi as Adviser

On a Saturday announcement, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State appointed Umar Musa Gama, commonly referred to as Umar Maggi, as the Special Adviser on Assembly Matters. This appointment is effective immediately.

The announcement was made through a statement issued by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa. Umar Maggi previously represented a constituency in the 9th Kano State House of Assembly and has served as a lawmaker.

In the statement, Governor Yusuf urged the new Special Adviser to bring his experience, commitment, and dedication to his new role.
