Governor Alia Strengthens Security Measures in Benue State

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State hosted a military delegation from the Armed Forces Command Staff College, Jaji, during a study tour of the state. He underscored the importance of synergy between the government and security agencies, as well as local communities, to tackle contemporary security challenges.

Governor Alia assured that the state would continue to strengthen its security architecture and enhance intelligence sharing and coordination efforts. He emphasized that gathering intelligence remains critical in combating emerging threats and protecting lives and property.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss security strategies and the role of partnerships in enhancing national and regional security. Governor Alia reaffirmed the state government's commitment to supporting security agencies in implementing measures that foster peace, unity, and sustainable development in Benue State.
