Governor Bago Builds 57 Healthcare Centres in Niger State

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has initiated the construction of 57 Primary Healthcare centres aimed at improving access to affordable healthcare services in rural communities. The announcement was made by Abdulberqy Usman Ebbo, the Special Adviser on Digital Media and Communication to the Governor, on a Friday in Minna.

Despite the commencement of political campaigns for the 2027 elections, Governor Bago continues to execute development projects across the state. Among these projects is a completed Level 2 Primary Health Care Centre in Landzun, Bida, which is now operational and designed to enhance healthcare access for residents.

The facility is equipped with essential amenities, including a 24-hour electricity and water supply, a theatre, doctors’ quarters, a pharmacy, and consulting rooms. Ebbo stated that the administration has undertaken numerous health sector projects that will support the government's campaign efforts for the upcoming elections.
