Ogun State Sets April 22 for School Resumption

The Ogun State government has officially set Monday, April 22, 2026, as the resumption date for public and private primary and secondary schools, including government technical colleges, for the third term of the 2025/2026 academic session. This announcement was made in a statement issued by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, signed by Commissioner Abayomi Arigbabu.

The resumption date aligns with the approved academic calendar for the session, and schools across the state are expected to commence academic activities immediately upon resumption. The government has called on parents and guardians to ensure that their children return to school without delay, as the third term marks the conclusion of the 2025/2026 academic session.

During this period, schools are expected to complete the academic syllabus and conduct promotional examinations in preparation for external examinations. The announcement follows a vacation period after the completion of the second term academic activities.
