Griezmann to Join Orlando City from Atletico Madrid

Antoine Griezmann, a 35-year-old former French forward, is set to join Major League Soccer side Orlando City from Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window. This move marks Griezmann's second permanent spell with Atletico Madrid, where he has scored close to 300 career club goals.

He has previously played for Real Sociedad and Barcelona. Griezmann expressed excitement about beginning this new chapter in his career, stating that he feels a strong ambition and a clear vision for the future from the club.

He looks forward to making Orlando his new home. Griezmann, who plans to retire from international football in 2024, has scored 44 goals in 137 caps and was part of the French team that won the World Cup in 2018.

The contract will see him play in Florida until 2029.
