Group Praises Military for Anti-Banditry Successes

The Northern Alliance Peace Advocacy Group has praised Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede and the Nigerian Armed Forces for their sustained success in military operations against banditry and terrorism in Nigeria. In a statement issued in Abuja, Mallam Danladi Abutu, representing the group, noted that recent military efforts have included the rescue of hundreds of abducted individuals and the neutralization of armed criminals.

These achievements reflect the military's renewed determination to tackle insecurity and restore public confidence. Abutu emphasized that the recent successes demonstrate the commitment of military leadership to improve security, particularly in the North East and North West regions of Nigeria.

He urged citizens to support the federal government's efforts in providing credible intelligence and security agencies, stressing that community cooperation is essential in the fight against insecurity.
