Abia Patriot Front Criticizes Bourdex Over Elder Remarks

The Abia Patriot Front issued a statement condemning David Ogba Onuoha Bourdex, a 73-year-old senatorial aspirant, for referring to Abia elders as "mad." The group accused Bourdex of lacking character and being involved in financial scandals during his brief tenure as caretaker chairman of Ohafia local government. They claimed he has not achieved anything significant in his life except for political appointments.

The statement highlighted allegations of financial impropriety, including the misallocation of funds for community projects and threats against civil servants who questioned his actions. The group also criticized Bourdex for his past support of former governor Orji Uzor Kalu and his opportunistic political behavior.

They urged Bourdex to change his ways and build a legacy rather than chase contracts and appointments, emphasizing that at 73, he should reflect on his contributions to society.
