Delta People’s Forum Elects New Executives in Nasarawa

On Sunday, members of the Delta People’s Forum across the 13 Local Government Areas of Nasarawa State reaffirmed their commitment to fostering love, unity, and understanding among the indigenes of Delta State, Nasarawa State, and Nigerians at large. The newly elected chairman emphasized the group's aim to promote welfare and peaceful coexistence among various ethnic groups.

The electoral process took place in Lafia, the state capital, resulting in the election of 10 new executives for a three-year term. Mathias England, Chairman of the Electoral Committee, announced the election of Omekenyi Edmund Ifeanyichukwu as President, with Samson Osuo as Vice President, Akpos Egwero as General Secretary, and Alex Okagbare as Financial Secretary, among others.

Omekenyi Edmund Ifeanyichukwu expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and promised to collaborate with both Delta and Nasarawa State governments to address challenges affecting members and improve their livelihoods.
