Wopu Backs Tinubu's Re-Election Bid for Second Term

The Workers' Union of Professionals (Wopu) has officially declared its support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This announcement was made during a courtesy visit to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Heineken Lokpobiri.

Nneamaka Okafor, the Minister's Special Adviser on Media, conveyed the group's endorsement through a statement. William Akporeha, representing Wopu, emphasized the movement's aim to provide a broader inclusive platform for Nigerian workers to actively participate in shaping the country's political direction, extending beyond traditional labor union frameworks.
