Geniu Hub Launches Betaawork to Connect Skilled Workers

Geniu Hub, led by Managing Director Isimemen Whyte, launched a digital platform called Betaawork in Benin City, Edo State, aimed at connecting verified skilled professionals with organizations seeking their services. The platform is designed to bridge the gap between skilled individuals and job opportunities, addressing unemployment and expanding access to dignified work.

Whyte disclosed that the initiative aims to onboard 500 skilled professionals and directly link trained individuals with companies requiring their services. Previously, the organization relied on a manual process for matching trained individuals with internship placements and job opportunities, which limited their reach.

The new digital platform will streamline this process. Geniu Hub has trained 100,000 young people over the past decade through various skill development programs and has collaborated with several local and international partners to support vulnerable groups, including return migrants and unemployed youth.
