Group Advocates for Ibrahim Shehu Turaki's Confirmation

A group identified as Concern Citizens has called for the confirmation of Ibrahim Shehu Turaki as a commissioner-designate in Gombe State. The group praised Turaki's nomination by Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, describing him as a man of integrity and selfless service.

They acknowledged his contributions to public service and grassroots development, emphasizing that his nomination reflects the confidence the governor has in him. The statement highlighted Turaki's familial background, noting he is the son of the late Alhaji Shehu Turaki, a prominent figure in the creation of Gombe State.

The group also pointed out Turaki's traditional title, Wakilin Gombe, which they believe demonstrates the trust placed in him by the Emir and the people of Gombe. They expressed optimism that the Gombe State House of Assembly would confirm Turaki, who is seen as a loyal party member and a team player committed to the development of the state.
