Gunmen Abduct Three Family Members in Ogun State

On Monday at approximately 7 PM, gunmen abducted three family members from Ipojo Golden Estate in Ok Eri, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State. The Ogun State Police Command, represented by spokesperson DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed that 15 armed men invaded the community, causing panic among residents.

The police have initiated tactical intelligence operations to rescue the victims and apprehend the suspects. The head of the affected family, Mr.

Yesiru Badewa, expressed deep concern for the health of the abducted women, one of whom is reportedly ill. He appealed to the state government for increased security measures in the area, highlighting the distress caused by the incident.

Community leader Mr. Kehinde described the situation as disturbing and called for government action to enhance security.

This incident is part of a growing trend of kidnappings in Ogun State, particularly affecting agrarian communities.
