Gunmen Kill Three Vigilantes in Plateau Attack

In Plateau, gunmen killed three vigilantes during an attack at approximately 2 a.m. on Wednesday. The vigilantes were stationed at a community guard post when the assailants opened fire, catching the community off guard while they were asleep.

Damba Dang, a local resident, confirmed the incident and expressed deep concern over the increasing violence in the area, highlighting that the vigilantes were merely fulfilling their role in providing security and protection for the community. He urged security agencies to enhance protective measures around Gwa Rim and other vulnerable areas in Riyom to prevent further incidents.

Additionally, Dang called for a thorough investigation to identify and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for the killings, emphasizing the need for justice in light of the tragic event.
