Gunmen Kill Pastor Emmanuel Ezeoikw in Adamawa State

On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Pastor Emmanuel Ezeoikw was killed by gunmen in Zinal Village, located in the Song Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, and the police received a report at 12:48 PM on the same day.

SP Suleiman Nguroj, the spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command, confirmed the attack and stated that upon arrival at the scene, police operatives found the victim's lifeless body. Although he was rushed to the hospital, medical personnel confirmed his death.

An autopsy was planned, and three empty AK-47 shells were recovered from the scene. Commissioner Kabir Hassan has ordered a discreet investigation and deployed a tactical team to track down the perpetrators.

The police urged the public to remain calm and provide any information that could assist in the investigation.
