Senior Army Officer Killed in Kidnap Attempt in Nasarawa

On Monday night, Col Abdussalam A. Ude, a senior military officer, was killed during a suspected kidnap attempt at his residence in Badna, New Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
The assailants attacked during heavy rain, attempting to abduct him, but he resisted and was shot multiple times. Local sources, including a journalist and a community leader, confirmed the incident.
