Gwong People Condemn Attacks in Kaduna, Call for Government Intervention

The Gwong People in Kaduna State, represented by the Gwong Development Association (GDA), have decried attacks by Fulani herdsmen in the Tanda Asso District. The attacks have resulted in loss of lives, displacement, destruction of livelihoods, and economic hardship, exacerbating food insecurity and poverty.

The GDA urges residents to avoid retaliatory actions and calls for government intervention, stronger security measures, and dialogue to address the root causes of the conflict. The association extends condolences to affected communities and emphasizes the need for justice and peace to prevail in Gwong land.
