Helicopter Crash in Ghana School Park Claims Two Lives

On Monday, March 16, a helicopter crashed into a school park located on Oninku Drive, leading to the deaths of at least two individuals. Eyewitness reports indicated that the aircraft descended rapidly before bursting into flames, causing panic among local residents.

The Ghana National Fire Service responded promptly to extinguish the fire, while the Ghana Police Service secured the scene and supported rescue operations. The bodies of the victims were later recovered from the wreckage.

Preliminary investigations into the cause of the crash have commenced, as confirmed by Ahm Abdullia, the assemblyman for the Kwesi Plang electoral area. Notably, the crash occurred at a time when the park was empty, and no students were injured, despite the loud bang heard during the incident.

Authorities have pledged to conduct a thorough investigation into the crash.
