Atiku Buys PDP's Wadata Plaza, Focuses on Strengthening Political Base

Paul Ibe, a media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, revealed that Atiku personally purchased the national secretariat of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), known as Wadata Plaza. Ibe addressed speculations about Atiku's wealth, emphasizing that there was nothing wrong with a wealthy individual holding public office.

Atiku's focus is currently on strengthening his political base within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition. Ibe clarified that Atiku had not officially declared his interest in any political position but was working on building a strong political structure within the ADC.

Atiku aims to unite opposition leaders under one umbrella to contest against President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
