PSG Ordered to Pay Kylian Mbappe €60 Million After Legal Battle

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is embroiled in a legal dispute with Kylian Mbappe after the French Labour Court sided with the player, ordering PSG to pay him €60 million in unpaid wages and bonuses. The court rejected PSG's counterclaim of €440 million for damages and loss of opportunities.

Mbappe's camp hopes PSG will comply voluntarily. PSG plans to appeal the ruling, citing a lack of written proof for an alleged verbal agreement to waive Mbappe's salary extension.

The legal battle stems from Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid in 2024. Nasser Al-Khelaifi, PSG's president, is at the center of the dispute.
