Tinubu's Security Measures Improve Safety in Benue State

Terseer Ugbor, the member representing Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency, stated on Sunday that President Bola Tinubu’s security interventions have notably improved safety in Benue State. He highlighted the establishment of the Nigerian Army’s 5 Division Headquarters and the deployment of a battalion to Jato-Aka as significant measures that have curtailed insecurity in the region.

During an interaction with constituents, Ugbor expressed optimism about the proposed state police system enhancing community policing. He also supported Tinubu’s re-election bid, citing various reforms including local government autonomy and infrastructure development.

Ugbor welcomed the affirmation of his victory at the primaries by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the APC candidate for the upcoming National Assembly election. He outlined his priorities for his constituency, including completing major projects such as a Technology Incubation Centre and a ₦1 billion bridge project.

Additionally, he mentioned initiatives like providing motorised boreholes and agricultural support to improve local food production.
