Delta State to Recruit Over 700 Healthcare Personnel

The Delta State Government has announced the recruitment of over 700 medical and non-medical personnel as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery in the state. This initiative was disclosed by Dr.

Joseph Onojaem, the State Commissioner for Health, during a press conference held in Asaba on Tuesday. Governor Sheriff Oborevwori approved this recruitment to improve healthcare services across Delta State.

Interested candidates are required to submit their applications to the Chairman of the Health Sector Recruitment Committee, including a curriculum vitae, copies of relevant credentials, a birth certificate, an affidavit of local government origin, and two recent passport photographs. Additionally, applicants must provide a reference report and evidence of any name changes.

Current practicing licenses from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria or equivalent bodies are also necessary for submission, either physically or via email. The Delta State Government has intensified efforts to improve healthcare access, particularly for vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and children.
