Aondoakaa: Alia's Governorship Backed by Akume's Structure

Michael Aondoakaa, the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, remarked that Hyacinth Alia did not become the governor of Benue State without the backing of a political structure, specifically that of George Akume. Speaking on Arise Television, Aondoakaa highlighted the significance of party discipline and loyalty within the All Progressives Congress (APC), stressing that the party operates as an organized political structure nationwide.

He cautioned that the Benue State chapter should not act in isolation and should adhere to established party processes. Aondoakaa maintained that the political bloc led by Akume played a decisive role in Alia's emergence as governor, underscoring the interconnectedness of party dynamics and governance in the state.
