Momodu Defends Support for Adeleke Against Wike's Claims

Dele Momodu, a renowned journalist and publisher, addressed comments made by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, regarding his support for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke. Momodu clarified that his backing of Adeleke is rooted in the governor's performance rather than personal friendship or financial incentives.

He highlighted his deep connections to Osun State, having been born in Ile-Ife on May 16, 1960, just three days after Adeleke. Momodu's educational journey in Ile-Ife spanned from 1966 to 1988, culminating in a master's degree.

He stated his commitment to being a stakeholder in Osun State, regardless of who holds the governorship. Additionally, he expressed that he has never held public office despite his connections and urged Wike to exercise restraint, reminding him that life should not be solely measured by power and wealth.
