Jonathan Defends Presidency Against Atiku's Criticism

He praised the foresight of former head of state Yakubu Gowon in establishing ECOWAS and stressed that strong democratic institutions are essential for economic integration. Jonathan's remarks came during an award ceremony in Abuja, where he was recognized for his contributions to diplomacy and regional cooperation.
