Pantami Denies Corruption Probe, Highlights Achievements

Isa Ali Pantami, who served as the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy from 2019 to 2023 under President Muhammadu Buhari, asserted that he has never been invited for a corruption investigation. Speaking at the launch of a compendium in Gombe State, he highlighted his clean record and the tangible contributions he made to Nigeria's technological landscape.

Pantami emphasized that his tenure included the execution of 241 legacy projects and the creation of 700 employment opportunities. He argued that leadership accountability is crucial and that his record should be open to public scrutiny.

Pantami noted that despite years in government, he has not faced any indictments from anti-corruption agencies, attributing his clean record to divine favor. He also discussed the equitable distribution of projects across the country, aimed at addressing issues like insecurity, unemployment, and educational gaps, while empowering youth and supporting security agencies.
