Mr Eazi Stops Listening to Burna Boy to Protect Sound

Nigerian singer Mr Eazi disclosed that he has ceased listening to Burna Boy's music to safeguard his distinct sound. He articulated that Burna Boy's powerful style and natural vocal tone could inadvertently affect his creative process, making it easy for him to unconsciously adopt elements of Burna Boy's sound.

Mr Eazi expressed admiration for Burna Boy but emphasized his desire to maintain the originality of his music. He noted that he does not want to feel his unique style drifting away due to the influence of Burna Boy's work.

The two artists have previously collaborated on the song "Miss Bad," which was part of Mr Eazi's 2018 project "Life Eazi Vol 2: Lagos to London." Mr Eazi's decision reflects a conscious effort to protect his musical identity amidst the similarities in their styles.
