Sikiratu Sindodo Reveals Near-Fatal Health Crisis

Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, shared her harrowing experience with a severe illness during an interview with Oyinmomo TV. The illness began with symptoms resembling malaria and typhoid but escalated over months, leading to her being hospitalized multiple times as doctors struggled to diagnose her condition.

Eventually, her health deteriorated to the point where she lost consciousness and fell into a coma. During this critical period, her family was informed that her chances of survival were uncertain, with her mother even being advised to return home due to the grim prognosis.

Odueke stated, “I was in a coma and was given a 50/50 chance,” emphasizing the gravity of her situation. She expressed gratitude for the prayers and support she received, attributing her recovery to divine intervention, stating, “God has been faithful because I don’t want to be emotional.”.
