Portable Claims Robbery After Losing to Carter Efe

Portable, the afrobeat singer known as Habeeb Badmus, publicly rejected the outcome of his boxing match against skit maker Carter Efe, which took place on Saturday morning at Balmor Hall in Lagos. In a live Instagram video, Portable claimed that the contest was unfairly skewed against him, accusing the organizers of failing to accurately count punches during the fight.

Despite losing by a unanimous decision, with judges scoring the match 27-30 in favor of Carter Efe, Portable stated he would not relinquish his title, emphasizing that it holds personal significance due to the birth of his child. He also mentioned his previous victories, including wins against Charl Okocha and Speed Darlington.

Carter Efe dismissed Portable's claims, stating that his height and reach advantage allowed him to dominate the fight, landing cleaner punches and controlling the pace throughout the three-round contest, ultimately making him the new celebratory boxing champion.
