IBB Golf Club Set for 2026 All Africa Challenge Trophy

Hon. Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, the President of the Court of Appeal and Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the IBB International Golf and Country Club, announced that the club is prepared to host the 2026 All Africa Challenge Trophy (AACT) from November 2 to 7, 2026. The club has been closed for over a year for extensive renovations by the Federal Government.

After inspecting the facilities, Justice Dongban-Mensem assured stakeholders that the golf course is in good condition and that the tournament will proceed as scheduled. She acknowledged that while conditions may not be perfect, the club is ready to host the event.

Lami Ahmed, President of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria, also inspected the facilities and expressed satisfaction with the progress, thanking the club's management for their support. She emphasized that the championship would provide participants with an experience beyond mere competition.
