Idris Mourns Alhaji Ibrahim Wali, Garkuwan Kontagora

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, expressed profound sadness regarding the death of Alhaji Ibrahim Wali, the Garkuwan Kontagora, a notable political figure, community leader, and philanthropist from Niger State. In a statement released on Sunday by his special assistant on media, Rabiu Ibrahim, Idris described Wali as a close associate and trusted friend whose life was characterized by generosity and a commitment to the progress of his people.

Idris highlighted Wali's extensive service to his community, emphasizing his philanthropic efforts, support for education, and empowerment of the less privileged. He noted that Wali carried out his traditional responsibilities with dignity and was a respected voice on issues affecting the Kontagora Emirate and Niger State.

Idris lamented the loss of Wali's friendship and counsel, stating that the community has lost a dependable friend and patriot dedicated to the advancement of his people.
