Minister Idris Mourns Community Leader Ibrahim Wali

Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation of Nigeria, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ibrahim Wali, a notable political figure, community leader, and philanthropist from Niger State, who held the title of Garkuwan Kontagora. In his condolence message, Idris described Wali as a close associate and trusted friend, emphasizing the personal loss he felt and the pain experienced by the people of Kontagora Emirate and Niger State.

He acknowledged Wali's extensive contributions to his community, particularly in philanthropy, education, empowerment, and community development, which left a lasting impact on many lives. Idris praised Wali for the dignity and dedication with which he fulfilled his traditional duties.

He also reflected on their personal relationship, stating he would miss Wali’s friendship and counsel.
