IGP Disu Deploys AIG Morri to Plateau for Security Assessment

On Thursday, Olatunji Disu, the Inspector General of Police, deployed Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Dankombo Morri to Plateau State to assess the security situation following recent attacks in the Bokkos Local Government Area. The deployment was confirmed in a press statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Anieti Iniedu.

During his visit, AIG Morri engaged with community leaders and traditional authorities in the Kawel community of the Mushere district to evaluate the security challenges and reinforce ongoing efforts to restore peace and stability. He conveyed condolences to the families affected by the attacks and assured residents of the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice.

AIG Morri emphasized the need for law enforcement measures to prevent further violence and urged residents to remain law-abiding. He also visited the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr.

Caleb Mutfwang, and the Gbong Gwom Jos, Royal Majesty Da Jacob Gyang Buba, to reaffirm the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to collaborating with state authorities to address security challenges.
