Iheanacho Nominated Twice for Celtic's Goal of the Month

Kelechi Iheanacho, currently with Celtic, has been nominated twice for the club's Goal of the Month award for April. His nominations stem from two impressive goals: one against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on April 5, where he scored in the 82nd minute, and another in the Scottish Cup semi-final against St.

Mirren on April 19, where he scored in the 10th minute of extra time. Celtic has shortlisted six goals for the monthly award, with Iheanacho's goals standing out.

Since joining Celtic last summer, he has shown outstanding form, scoring four goals in six games, including three match-winning strikes in the league. Overall, he has tallied seven goals in 18 appearances across all competitions.

Iheanacho expressed his satisfaction in helping the team win and emphasized the importance of patience and composure in finishing. He previously missed four matches against Rangers this season due to fitness concerns but is now available for the upcoming Old Firm derby.
