Ikeja Club Celebrates 60th Anniversary with Outreach

Ikeja Club announced plans to commemorate its 60th anniversary with a series of activities, including a medical outreach aimed at the public. This announcement was made during a press conference at the Ikeja Club House in Lagos on Friday.

Club President Musediq Adeleke stated that the anniversary would include thanksgiving services, a public lecture, health outreach, charity visits, sporting activities, and a grand finale. The theme for the anniversary lecture is ‘Urban Club and City Development,’ which aims to highlight the role of social institutions in promoting civic values and urban growth.

Adeleke emphasized that the celebration is an opportunity to reflect on the club's history and renew its commitment to service and community development. Vice President Abayomi Omoniyi noted the club's ongoing impact through corporate social responsibility initiatives, extending benefits beyond club members to the public.

The event was attended by other club executives who discussed the club's contributions to leadership development and character building since its establishment in 1966.
