"Ikenga: The Last Festival Becomes Highest-Grossing Igbo Film"

"Ikenga: The Last Festival" has achieved a significant milestone by crossing the N75 million mark at the Nigerian box office, making it the highest-grossing Igbo film of all time, as reported by FilmOne Entertainment. This announcement was made on Monday via a post on X.

The film has also held the title of the highest-grossing Nollywood film for three consecutive weeks since its nationwide release on August 21, 2026. Directed by Darlington Kelechi, "Ikenga" features a notable cast including Pete Edochie, Nkem Owoh, Kanayo O.

Kanayo, Patience Ozokwo, Zubby Michael, Beverly Osu, Jide Kene Achufusi, Regina Daniels, and Destiny Etiko. The film grossed N22 million in its opening weekend, marking the highest-grossing opening for an Igbo film in West Africa.

FilmOne Entertainment credited the film's success to the strong audience interest and thanked moviegoers for their support.
