"Spider-Man: Brand New Day," starring Tom Holland, has maintained the No. 1 position at the North American box office for six consecutive weekends, grossing over $900 million domestically within 36 days. This achievement makes it only the second film to reach this milestone without inflation adjustments.

The film has also grossed approximately $2.4 billion worldwide. Meanwhile, Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey," featuring Matt Damon and a large ensemble cast, has surpassed $1.6 billion globally, becoming Nolan's highest-grossing film.

In a recent weekend, "The Odyssey" reclaimed the top position at the box office, earning around $45.9 million, compared to "Spider-Man's" $44.1 million. The success of both films signifies a strong recovery for the box office, with Hollywood's domestic summer earnings reaching about $4.6 billion from May to August, the strongest performance since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
