Tinubu Celebrates Economic Recovery and Salary Payments

On a recent occasion, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, expressed his happiness that states are no longer struggling to pay salaries, indicating a significant recovery in the economy. He noted that states have moved away from relying on federal government intervention for salary payments.

Tinubu acknowledged the difficult journey faced during his presidency, marked by political and legal challenges, but emphasized the importance of perseverance and hard work. He commended the governors for maintaining public confidence during the implementation of economic reforms.

Tinubu mentioned that 27 governors have borrowed from the federal government but are no longer struggling to pay salaries. He also discussed ongoing infrastructure projects, including the development along the Sokoto-Badagry corridor, which aims to enhance agricultural opportunities and food sovereignty in Nigeria.
