Imo Governor Uzodimma Announces State Police Readiness and Infrastructure Plans

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma revealed plans to establish a state police force, convert vigilant groups, and ensure uninterrupted electricity supply in Owerri. He also mentioned tax exemptions for workers earning less than 150,000 naira, free transport for students and pensioners, and ongoing infrastructure projects.

Additionally, he highlighted the need for community engagement to tackle insecurity. The governor expressed disappointment over the federal government's delay in refunding funds for road projects.
