INEC Opens 2026 Recruitment Portal for Nigerians

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced its recruitment exercise for 2026, inviting suitable qualified Nigerians to apply for entry-level positions across various departments. The online application portal opened on July 20 and will close on July 27, 2026.

This recruitment is part of INEC's efforts to strengthen its workforce and enhance operational efficiency in critical areas such as electoral administration, voter registration, election logistics, and data management. Positions available cut across grade levels 07, 08, 09, 10, and 12, offering opportunities for holders of Higher National Diploma (HND), bachelor's degrees, and National Certificate in Education (NCE).

Specific roles include positions for accountants, legal officers, ICT officers, and engineers, with some requiring a master's degree in relevant fields. Applicants must possess relevant professional certifications and at least two years of post-qualification experience, along with a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Additional requirements include being no older than 35 years at the time of application and providing a medical fitness certificate.
