Idris to Chair Launch of PR Book in Kaduna on August 28

Alhaji Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, will serve as the Chairman of the Occasion for the public presentation of "Aren’t We All PR People?" on August 28, 2026, in Kaduna. This event is part of the Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Kaduna state chapter, and the inaugural Bashir Chedi Annual Memorial Lecture.

The book, authored by public relations practitioner, journalist, and academic Ahmed Balarabe Sa’id, targets young practitioners, students, and career starters in Nigeria. It covers the origins and evolution of public relations in Nigeria, regulatory frameworks, career pathways, ethical challenges, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the profession.

The publication includes a foreword by Idris and is written in accessible language with Nigerian examples. Ahead of the launch, the author has partnered with CommsOfAfrica for media features and digital amplification, aiming to center African voices in global communication discussions.
