Danladi Assures Peace in Kwara South Amid Security Efforts

Rt Hon Yakubu Danladi Salihu, the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and the gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, assured the people of Kwara South that peace would return to the area due to renewed government security measures. During an APC thank-you tour in Isin, he noted that the federal government had approved a new division of the Nigeria Army with its headquarters in Ilorin and a battalion in Omu-Aran to address insecurity.

Danladi expressed gratitude to the Olusin, the Isin Traditional Council, and religious leaders for their support of the APC government. He emphasized the government's commitment to resolving security challenges and sustaining the legacies of the current administration led by Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Other APC candidates, including Prince Lekan Adewoye and Mrs Florence Olasumbo Oyeyemi, also acknowledged the community's support for the party and promised to serve them well.
