IPAC Criticizes Wike Over Tinubu Endorsement Claim

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has strongly criticized Governor Wike for asserting the mandate to endorse Bola Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election through the 'Rainbow Coalition.' IPAC's spokesperson, Egbeola Martin, emphasized that Wike does not have the authority to speak on behalf of political parties, stating that he cannot determine or announce political preferences. The council highlighted the importance of respecting democratic processes and warned against individuals hijacking the collective will of political parties for personal gain.

IPAC stressed that no individual, regardless of their position or influence, has the right to speak for political parties.
