IRC Empowers Borno Vulnerable Residents

IRC's deputy director of Programmes, Ester Agoriat, highlighted the organization's commitment to diversifying donor sources to continue its programs in woman protection, child protection, and rule of law in conflict zones.

The IRC has invested $50 million in natural disaster and conflict response in Nigeria, focusing on healthcare, food security, and protection services. The organization commended stakeholders for their support and emphasized the importance of reaching local resources and philanthropists for assistance.

IRC's interventions include vocational training for vulnerable adolescents, empowering women through skill-building programs, and providing services to combat gender-based violence. The organization collaborates with government agencies to enhance coordination and sustainability in its efforts.
