NAOSS Condemns Refund Demand from APC's Adeola

The National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) issued a statement condemning the alleged demand for a campaign fund refund from Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State. The statement, signed by NAOSS President Olubodun Olalekan, characterized the demand as unprincipled and an embarrassment, labeling it a direct insult to the people of Ogun State.

NAOSS expressed concern over the approach taken by Adeola, emphasizing that politics should promote unity and development rather than transactional demands. The association rejected the notion of commodifying public service and urged political actors to prioritize the interests of Ogun State above personal grievances.

They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting transparent, people-centered leadership and called for accountability among public office holders and political aspirants. NAOSS also highlighted the need for unity within the APC to avoid unnecessary tensions in the political environment of Ogun State.
