JAMB Launches Online O’Level Verification for 2026 UTME

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new online system for 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results without needing to visit a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre. This development was announced by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, on August 24, 2026.

The system facilitates direct verification between JAMB's e-Facility platform and examination bodies, starting with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). Previously, candidates had to visit accredited CBT centres for manual entry of their results.

The new system aims to address issues such as misplaced results and errors in data entry, while also reducing unnecessary visits to CBT centres. Candidates will enter their National Identification Number (NIN), select examination details, make a payment, and receive a verification code upon successful verification.

This change is part of JAMB's broader efforts to enhance accessibility and efficiency in the admission process, with over 1.5 million registrations recorded by February 17 for the upcoming UTME scheduled from April 16 to April 25.
